Broad PGx panels create a reporting problem. A cardiologist ordering a clopidogrel workup does not need 200 genes, and long reports get filed instead of used — which means no repeat orders. Internal control on every reaction: A ROX-channel internal standard runs alongside each sample to flag extraction failure or inhibition before you report a result.

Carryover contamination control: Uracil-DNA glycosylase is built into every PCR mix, with a 37 °C digestion step ahead of amplification.

Unambiguous genotype calls: Dual FAM/VIC allele discrimination resolves wild-type, heterozygous, and homozygous mutant from a single reaction, with a Ct < 38 call threshold.

Non-invasive collection: Buccal swab specimens — no phlebotomy, no cold-chain blood draw to coordinate.

Defined controls in every kit: Weakly positive and blank controls included, with published acceptance criteria (control Ct ≤ 32).
